More information

We built the battery we wished existed: one that charges like your phone, hits full 1.5V like the alkalines you grew up with, and doesn't end up in a landfill every few weeks.

Voyager batteries charge over USB-C, so they work just like your other USB-powered devices. Inside, an improved voltage profile means the power holds steady and mimics true alkaline discharge. Each battery is rated for 1,000+ recharge cycles, replacing disposable batteries over its life, at a fraction of the long-term cost.

Voyager Series batteries are designed to work in the same devices as standard single-use alkaline batteries. Thanks to their 1.5V output and improved voltage profile, they're built to work similarly to alkaline, so devices that expect standard battery performance can run on Voyager.

This is an improvement over many older-style rechargeables, which often output a lower voltage and can cause certain electronics, like some digital cameras, precision instruments, or devices with strict power requirements, to run poorly or not at all.

Join our mission to "End Single-Use". Fewer batteries in the trash, less money spent replacing them, and power that doesn't quit.

Voyager Voltage

Voyager Series batteries use a new discharge curve engineered to balance high output voltage with extended runtime. Rather than the flat, sudden drop-off typical of lithium rechargeables, Voyager works like an alkaline discharge profile: voltage gradually softens as capacity depletes, with a final drop at the very end to reliably trigger low battery warnings on devices like keyless door locks.
